Expect a bunch of seasonal flowers per week for 10 weeks starting in mid-April. In response to the disappearance of the events industry, Treadlight Farm is offering a spring flower CSA! Spring offers up the most beautiful blooms of the year. Over the course of the spring season, you can expect to receive a weekly bunch of gorgeous crops like ranunculus, poppies, anemones, specialty tulips, sweet peas, and more. We will include instructions on how to care for them to make them last through your next pick-up (and sometimes beyond!).

We are so excited to collaborate with our farming neighbors Matt and Irene from Treadlight Farm this spring. We think our two shares, spring vegetables and spring flowers, will lead to much delight from mid-April through mid- June.
Here’s a note from Treadlight, you’ll get to know these super rad farmers better through the Spring Flower CSA!
“You may not know us, but we’re Matt and Irene of Treadlight Farm. We’re new to the area, but we’ve been growing specialty cut flowers for the last five years in Delaware County, selling our stems at farmers markets and to NYC’s historic flower market.
Our business, and in particular our spring, relies heavily on the events industry in New York City and beyond, and as you probably know, the events industry has abruptly and thoroughly shut down as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
But we’re lucky to have a great farming community around us. We share farmland with Erin and Sam, who’ve welcomed us into the farming community here in Kerhonkson with open arms. They know how precarious things are turning for our business, and they’ve graciously offered us the opportunity to collaborate here.”
